I could drown myself in them for an eternity
Embed myself into you in every lifetime
A story unspoken, pours from them
One we cannot hide
We were created for one another
And in those windows
Rests a part of me
As in these, rests a part of you

The Gift

I don't have much
However, I want to give you everything
To share everything with only you
Taking in all you say, all you give
Feeling all that I am grateful for
Cherishing the gift that has been given
Like a child, waiting to open it
For what seems like a lifetime
So worth the wait
And right now
I enjoy admiring the beauty of the wrapping
The ribbon that is so intricately placed
Softly caressing it's folds between my fingers
Silky and soft to the touch
And the sound of words spoken to my soul
Bring great tears of joy and delight
Anticipation grows with each and every moment
A feeling no other could understand
Let alone manifest the way you do
Everything around us fades
In the presence of you
This Divine blessing I receive
In all of it's fullness and beauty
The search is finally over

Smiling as I fell to sleep
Throughout a grueling day
Thoughts of you I keep
Watching the night turn to day
You give me tears of joy
Adversaties to conquer through hope
The whole of you to enjoy
Strength all the more to cope
The inspiration is you
Amidst laughter and understanding
With whom I look forward to
NO more, do things seem too demanding

You've given me something to be cherished
And it has only just begun
